I have been involved with Edwards & Godding since 1972, initially offering admin and accounting support, and in recent years serving on the board and latterly the position of Managing Director.

Edwards & Godding is a friendly family company which represents the personal touch as we want our customers to be able to ask for us by name and know that they will receive the very best level of service and care.  The company is transparent and clear in our dealings with customers as we want people to know, especially at times like these, that they are coming to a trusted and secure local company who will look after them now and for years to come.

On a day-to-day basis along with my other duties I carry out most of our AGA home surveys.  This allows me to always be aware of what our customers are thinking and how they react to the different innovations, promotions and even changes in the market.  I also am there for everyone in the business to help them do the best jobs they can, and to ensure they have the resources they need.

As Managing Director I support and promote advancements within the company, both technologically and in terms of staff training, as we continue to strive for excellence in the service we offer to all our customers.

When I'm not in the office I like relaxing with my wife, our grown up children when they are home, and also our grandsons Harry and Arthur. I enjoy taking our dog Holly for a walk and I also like to get out to watch some rugby - either the sides my sons play for or a bigger match at Twickenham.
