Position: Service Department

Location: Reading

I joined Edwards & Godding in April 2006, my role initially was to assist in the booking of service calls, allocating them to engineers etc and then from their paperwork update our customer database on a computerised system. These things I still get involved in but my position changed in July 2007 to ‘Alison in Spares!' I was a little apprehensive when asked to take on this role as the insides and working of an AGA did appear complicated, there are still some moments of despair but overall I find my achievements within this role rewarding.

My favourite and most enjoyable things I do in my spare time involve knitting (no I'm not some old saddo!) good food and wine shared with good company, preferably overseas when I can also practice my rusty language skills and playing on the Wii with my two ‘Grown up' daughters.
